Is this my last bundle?
What is it?
I’ve been participating in Vegan Health Bundles for the last four years. They occur once a year, usually in February or March. For 9-10 days a huge bundle of ebooks, courses, conference recordings, coupons, videos and other products are made available for a very low price. I submit ebooks and videos such as my Plant Based Japanese ebook, 12 Days of Plant Based Cookies, or Chef Julia 21 Day Challenge Meal Plan, to name a few. This year I contributed Whole Wheat Sourdough Bread class with videos and recipes and Whole Wheat Sourdough Pizza class with a video and recipe.

What I learned
I almost didn’t participate in this year’s Vegan Health Bundle. First of all, I was going to be out of town for four days of it. The organizers, Chef AJ and Melissa Maris told me that was OK, I could record videos and post while I was away from home. Second, I didn’t think my Whole Wheat Sourdough Bread and Whole Wheat Sourdough Pizza classes would be that popular. A lot of whole food plant based people don’t eat much flour or bread products.
I love sourdough bread made from organic freshly milled whole wheat flours fermented with starter. The starter is made from wild yeast and lactic acid bacteria, cultivated right in your own environment. The natural leavening and fermentation creates a bread that is digestible, has a lower glycemic impact, supports gut health and has increase nutrient availability due to long fermentation. It supports gut health and blood sugar control. I know making it is therapeutic for me. I love the entire process and the slowness of it. It’s calming. I love giving a loaf of bread to a friend. It was a surprise to me when so many bundle contributors and customers were talking about my classes!
I was pleased to learn from many people who have purchased the bundle that they liked my classes a lot. Chef AJ told me so many contributors to the bundle said that my sourdough classes were their favorite bundle item. And there are so many contributions I’ve found by sifting through the 70+ ebooks, etc. I printed out a few ebooks, that’s how much I liked them: Amanda Sick’s Wanna Date and Tim Kaufman’s Plant Based Comfort Food and Tofu Mastery and Cyd Notter’s Sweet Relief! I certainly don’t need any more recipes. My house is covered in my own recipes, so if I’m collecting them then they are special.

Don’t doubt yourself!
A lesson I learned from this year is I’m capable of doing harder things, like working on something day and night, even away from home. Also, I doubted myself and the value of my contribution. I was wrong. What I’m doing is valued by others. Do I want to do this again next year? I’m questioning it. There is a lot involved. I did find myself thinking about another course to teach, but I may do that in my usual business and leave it at that.

I had made up my mind to pass on the bundle this year...until I saw your sourdough bread class contribution. I was just getting ready to purchase the class on your website when I saw it would be in this years' bundle! That was the dealmaker for me! How lucky was I??
